Throughout high school, Tynesha Lewis was very active in FCA. Through her witness both on and off the court, Lewis was able to make lasting impressions on the students, teachers and coaches.
“Tynesha has a dynamic personality and her willingness to speak about Christ to other students was a big plus for us at SouthWest Edgecombe,” said Coach Sandra Langley, head women’s basketball coach and assistant FCA leader for SWE.
“She definitely set a good example for her peers.”
“Tynesha’s demeanor in school was a reflection of the guidance and direction of her mother and father and the loving relationship she had with God,” added Coach Bruce Rhodes, FCA Huddle Coach at SouthWest. “Her influence continues to impact the youth of this area. When she returns to speak in the community, she touches lives because of the character she has developed in Christ.”
